The Founder's Story.
I've been curious about how computers work since fourth grade, when my school put one in every student's hands. That curiosity got me into some trouble in middle and high school, the technology kind, and it set my direction. After graduating, I worked in my high school's IT department doing break-fix, imaging, and basic networking. That became a managed IT career, and over the last 10+ years I've gone from Level 1 consultant to director, supporting more than 100 companies.
Along the way I learned the software construction, real estate, and glass companies run on. I've installed, upgraded, and migrated Sage 300 CRE and Sage 100 Contractor, and supported Procore and Glazier Studio. Sage has its quirks, and knowing them has solved problems a generalist wouldn't recognize. As they grow, these companies want advisors who speak their language. I'm a Jersey guy, rooted there my whole life, but when I fell for Tampa on a 2019 trip, I saw a growing market short on exactly that.
Dragon Bay is a play on my name, a dragon guarding the bay, and I started it to build something of my own, with structure in place from day one, not patched in later. Our job is to advise you on technology, not the other way around. That now includes AI, which is already showing up in businesses whether anyone approved it or not.
